SF has a huge edge on defense against us, we cannot turn it over(no bad TOs) and we need to slow down Gore and we'll have a chance.
with no pressure on the qb its hard to be possitive this d-line was suppose to be the game changer for us this year. going against miami and seeing a rookie QB just sit back and have all the time in the world is horrible.
It seems like Pouha isn't 100%. He's not playing like the Jets are used to and its affecting the entire D.
Both teams are defensive oriented but the strengths of their defenses lie in different areas. Also, don't think it's right to assume Vikings are going to be mediocre this year.
If I'm Frank Gore I'm nervous going into this game. Jets D is taking out running backs and Gore isn't exactly an iron man.
Honestly, would Revis really make that much of a difference against SF? It's not like they have world beaters at WR. Unless Revis would be covering Vernon Davis all game...
I think it's highly likely the SF 49'ers started reading their press and didn't take the Vikings seriously. I don't think that will now happen with the Jets. I think the SF is still REALLY good and should give the Jets offense more then enough to handle. So the question will be how well will the Jets D handle the SF offense. The Jets could squeeze out another win but don't be surprised if they lose.
