I will cut off the maple syrup export in a blink of an "eye", eyedea......trying eating a pancake without syrup. You'll change your tune.
Won't matter much to me. My grandmother has stockpiled about 10 years worth of jelly, jam, preserves and syrup which she's "innocently" lifted from various dining establishments. I'll call your bluff.
Yeah it was cursing in a thread title, my bad. What really frustrates me about this team is they can have games where the offense excels, the defense excels, the special teams excels, etc. but NEVER all in the same game. Until they can figure out how to do all those in the same game, going 6-2 down the stretch will be nearly impossible. Not a good way to go into a bye week. I figured we'd have 7-9 wins this year, nothing unrealistic, before the season started. However, after a 3-0 start, one over the patriots, there is no way to be content with going 1-4 the last 5 weeks after that. Especially getting swept by the dolphins.
Fair enough. If the Jets are on the right path, the close losses this year will turn into close wins next season. The 3-0 run was a little but of smoke and mirrors. The Texans are as schizophrenic as us. The Pats win was a good one. The Titans win, should have been a loss (we got lucky on the kick returner fumbles). If you take the Titans win and turn it into a loss and then take one of the Miami losses (or the Buffalo loss) into a win and they are in the same spot (pretty much) and it is a little more understandable. My guess is that they will win at least one more game that they shouldn't and lose at least one more game that they shouldn't and end up at about 7-9 or 8-8. We are a middle of the road team.
