If you had told me before I clicked this thread that RobA would get suspended and there would be a flamewar between Kurt and statjeff, you wouldn't be able to convince me it was true.
My point was only that many Jet fans are very quick to become overconfident,arrogant and attacking w/ the status of the team, before any rational means for such has taken place. In other words...they talk trash prematurely.W/ the history of this team, you'd think individuals would be gun shy and take a cautious approach w/ any external opinion regarding the team. But instead we see ridiculous predictions, arguements and arrogance when the team has accomplished NOTHING. As a result, when the "SOJ" so to speak transpires, the emotional pain is magnified and we see the media and opposing fans rub salt in the wounds over the given loss.For an objective,humble jets fan, that doesn't like to talk trash or show overconfidence...this can be very frsutrating. I hate being a Jet fan and don't feel liking going to anymore games. I am bored by .500, what crap, every loss, every year, its something else. And they lose without class. Can the bye week be 8 weeks.
Being a dark side myself, there is a reason we get like this, time and time again, year after year, we get fooled and then the same old comes walking down the aisle. 29 years of going to the games and ever year its something, always getting my hopes up. This season is over regarding the playoffs, done and over with, we are not going 6-2. Its all about the QB and coach getting better. And for you youngsters, the next thing will be anOL will go down with a season ending injury, probably Mangold. Its called being a Jet fan
