The same thing as everyone else, finding a franchise QB. When you have a mediocre placeholder, that keeps you from finding one in many ways. We are further toward finding one than the jets, obviously. Doesn't mean you are going to find one, just means you have more opportunity.
Jets are playing the guy they know is not a franchise QB. Bills are playing a guy who could be. How is that not farther along? Jets are not currently doing anything toward finding one. And please don't tell me Hackenberg.

Your point was the Jets aren't doing anything, using Fitz as the example. But they have drafted two QB's, so they are doing something. Btw, Petty showed some very positive improvement. My point is that you do no not have a 'franchise QB' now with Taylor. After the fiasco of Rex/Roman and a new coaching staff I'll give you a long shot that Taylor could amount to something. The idea he's a Russell Wilson type QB is a pipe dream
