My position is no difference then our HC or Jaws on MNF. Once you reach the point that the only thing that matters in sports is winning CHAMPIONSHIPs then you will no longer say my view is "narrow" since our HC has the same view Oh yes it is not bliss either since we have won NOTHING since 01/12/69 :up:

is DEAD! I think last night made it as official as can be. SOJ would have lost last night. We found a way to win like all great teams do. Play like a Jet has a new meaning and this man has changed everything.
I love how SOJ is still in the back of everybody's mind. Hanging around like that dude who hangs out with you sometimes that never goes home when the night is over and sits in your living room or stands in the kitchen, not getting the hint and leaving when the party's over. I felt it for a flash but it passed....
Whoa what happened to my thread? I think the thread title makes it appear that I am implying last night's game was SOJ when it is the exact opposite of what I said. I understand the merge but why not keep my thread title?

That's one of the few things I'm ever gonna agree with Junc on. Every team can point to tons of heartbreaking losses in their history. At some point Jets fans decided that they had it worse than everyone else.
But we were in the playoffs!! This is a fanbase issue, not a team issue. Ask the Browns if they'd trade with us? They were last in the playoffs 8 years, ago, and prior to that another 8 years. Same thing with the Raiders, they haven't played a meaningful game in 8 years. The Lions haven't been in the playoffs in 11 years. It's always a mentality of the fans, one that must be dropped from any Jet fans vocabulary if it hasn't already.
Because we do have it worse then everybody else.. I could point to numerous examples just in the Pats rise that sting us in the heart like that stingray that killed Steve Irwin.
