I did love it when Rex said that. It was like a big fuck you to all the assholes that we have had here the last few weeks.
Rex gave me chills when he said this. He could of went up to the podium and said this and left because that would have summed up the game.
That isn't a stupid post. It's excellent. These aren't the same old Jets no matter what the old timers (like me) say. This is a very good football team with a solid core of players and good coaching. There is much room for Rex to grow, don't get me wrong. Sometimes he makes me yearn for the good old days of Herm Edwards clock and game management, but mistakes aren't bad things when you learn from them.
When will he start to learn from them? I love this team and I see so much talent and potential but the clock management has been atrocious all season. Every week we see a mis step here or a poor play call there. This is the time to correct it before the playoffs when you don't have next game to institute what mistake you just learned from.
Nice win. Gutsy, balls-out football got the job done. Safety by JT was straight up raw dawg style. Now, let's go to Chitown and break some bones!!!
