That must be it, very attractive destination, I mean ask Hue Jackson. Kawhi clearly made the wrong decision, he went too far West.
Aaron Rodgers kept falling and falling. We saw first hand how talented and special he was, evidently the brain trust in the NFL front offices did not. The Charges HC loves Sam. Hence my comment. Our long time impression of Jets fans was from the NFL Draft...... Was pleasantly surprised the fans present didn’t boo or throw batteries at Sam when he was selected.
Sam who's all about ball, all he cares about is his teammates and winning. Would not have entered the draft if he wasn't assured he would be a top pick. Don't fool yourself. $$$$ is the driving force behind his decision to leave USC early, and for his holding out last season. As for the batteries, they had all been shipped out to California, home of the Charges for your vibrators....
Of course, he had to take his chance to go that high, who wouldn’t? I’ve also posted many times, the NFL is strictly business to these guys, it is all about the $$$, but Sam loves the game, totally committed to it. If Sam would had had competent coaching at USC, without that stupid “gumbo” offense Tee was running, he would have stayed at USC one more year. But, don’t take my word for it....my season tickets and tailgate buddy is Jordan Palmer’s FIL, who knows more about Sam than any of you on this forum. He held out about the language, the money was going to be the same. Sam needed someone like blood sucker Jimmy Sexton to fight for him, he was pissed at the length of the hold out.
What do you think the language was about? Offsets which equates to money if cut and signed elsewhere. As for him staying another year, not at the risk of injury costing him his future.
Rodgers was a special talent with a ton of fundamental issues with his footwork and release. That was the reason why he fell. Sam, much different circumstances. Chargers never had a shot at Sam, but I see your point here.
maybe think of getting a bigger dog... . : ) So Leonard Williams is trying to take my girlfriend on a date... . .
Hindsight is 20/20. I was screaming to the unholy heavens that Rodgers had unbelievable movement skills, ball placement & that hed break the Tedford QB curse. Most fans & experts thought he was fool’s gold ,pointing to the Tedtord curse & actually having the audacity to say he wasnt accurate.
And there's the difference between Sam and Sanchez. Taco had a film crew there, players who didn't need to be there, tee shirts for everyone. Told everyone how here great it all was. For his perfectly manicured and rehearded image
In fairness to all ARodgers isn't close to the Rodgers that emerged there draft. Body wise, mechanics, arm s to strength are not the same
You could tell he had it all.He was clearly gonna put on meat to his frame & his mechanics had to change bc he came from Jeff Tedfords funky system.. But the way the ball left his hand, the top on his throws & the ball placement to all fields was something special.
I love this kids work ethic and these are the little things, the leadership traits that are starting to show.
It's nice a few guys got together and threw the ball around a bit, maybe shared a beer or two, a couple of pizzas or even a steak. To make it a significantly bigger thing is a mistake.
I think it obviously can't hurt on any level. Think it may help communication and timing, get a head start on both more than anything. It's also got to help with comrardery, probably the biggest benefit IMO. But not seeing that it's going to guarantee anything
