We have the guys to do it but none of them are on the field..This team hasnt been the same since Mosley went down...
Unreal with Mosley. Such a Mets injury. He was questionable for week 2. Now he's probably not going to play until week 6 Quinnen Williams...SHOW ME. Make big plays. Cause unstoppable chaos up the middle. Sick of these 1st round DT's that everyone says are so great but never show up on the stat sheet as we keep losing
There will be a hundred guys on the field and none of them will have "0% chance of injury to his spleen if hit hard."
Not that unreal. Hamstring and groin injuries are really tough to overcome. They take forever to heal and are notoriously susceptible to re-injury. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Seems like we have an endless string of these guys doesn't it? I think it's about time we break the cycle. This goes way back to DeWayne Robertson in 2004 draft.
It is not just the spleen it is being ready and in shape to play. He has not been approved to lift weights yet, he was approved for cardio last week and non contact practice this week. How much weight and muscle has he lost? Even, if he spleen is no longer enlarged he should not be rushed and thrown into a bad situation. NE or JAX seems like a much more reasonable time frame for him coming back. Playing him vs Philly or Dallas seems to a desperation move rushing him back and putting him in danger for the possibility of a meaningless win or two.
I've never had mono but it sounds awful. He should just get healthy before anything else. This season is pretty much lost anyhow b the best case is he comes back healthy whenever and shows promise for a few weeks heading into next year.
There’s only one person on this website that after all the discussion about how week 5 was the best case scenario rather than the likely scenario, how an enlarged spleen could put someone at risk of death and how doctors didn’t clear him for contact, would post something as ill-informed as this. I’m glad he delivered.
huh? why are you quoting me and referring to me in the third person. that's creepy and passive aggressive.
He also said on The Michael Kay Show last night he'd be ready to go this weekend as long as his spleen isn't at risk. I.e, he's in football shape.
Darnold said he forced himself to eat even when he was at his sickest because he didn't want to lose weight. I like that, that's dedication to his craft
You’re right. Controversial implies you can make an argument on whether or not people should agree or disagree. There’s only one right side here. I’ll just assume you’re trolling and give you the victory. You got me. Took the bait.
