Those missed short intermediate passes were flat out inexcusable, and bad. THAT, has to be totally a thing of the past this year. Those passes ARE the bread and butter of this offense.
People forget, or never looked at his college tape, that he made those passes all the time before he ran into that rough stretch which had much to do with the shitty pass pro and his struggling to acclimate to the speed of the NFL. Towards the end of the season these passes were not a problem for him. Did he miss a few? Sure, but so did some of the top QBs, it happens. This whole "Wilson can't hit the short passes" meme is inaccurate.
