Siemian played with thomas under gase in denver and both did pretty good, didn't they? Maybe there will be something positive to come out of this.
He will be out more than 2 weeks. Mono symptoms usually last 6-8 weeks... anything else would be a speedy recovery.
This just goes to show the Browns were playing chess when the rest of the league was playing checkers. Everybody had Sam as the first QB off the board and it was a shocker when it came out they were taking Baker. But the Browns saw the dog in Baker. He probably came across the mono infection in high school, early college the latest, and so his immune system is already tolerant of it. Jets go on to draft Sam, a gentleman and a scholar, who hooks up with one girl from the streets or hits a strip club for the first time, and now he’s missing meaningful games during the meaningful second season of his development. You can’t make it up. This really is something that would only happen to the Jets. I’m stunned at the news and yet relatively numb from everything else being a fan of this franchise already put me through.
You have to factor in that he literally won't be able to do much physically while he's out. Additionally, he's going to lose a ton of weight/muscle which will have to be regained. I'm not rushing to put him back out there in the middle of the brutal early schedule. This season is over guys/gals.
Wow, i just do not know what to say. Maybe, its a good thing as he will be back for the easy part of the schedule and maybe with a new HC. All the snticipation for the season and then the game against the Bills. I can't believe I am looking forward to the Knicks season starting.
Last Super bowl..half & half scotch & tincture oil.Chugged down in one gulp.I dont recommend it. And as long as someone doesnt falsely accuse me of insulting them over literally the same exact health condition that destroyed my career & social life a well as members of my fam(and no apology)..i have no intention of going anywhere

Mike McCarthy's in-game masseuse is likely a better coach than gase Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Maybe this explains why he played so poorly on Sunday. In a way this is good news. The Jets have only a slim chance of making the playoffs this year so the chances of Darnold getting injured behind this makeshift O-line just decreases. He can sit on the sidelines and get a different perspective and learn.
