Id rather not be a Jet fan ,life would be so much easier if I didn't have the disease of being a Jets fan.Doctors say I will have it for life and common symptons are, discomfort, pain, misery,bi polar disorder, internal bleeding, bed shitting, sneezing, sweating, roid rage ,and that's only a few

100% against this. Too many injuries. I'll take a guy like McGloin for a year.

depends on where we are picking if we cant get mariota then im fine with bradford..i think its rare when qbs with his talent make it to free agency, hes def not a back up or a one game wonder like matt flynn...if he stayed healthy during his career he would never be available to sign

I'd take Matt Moore over Bradford. Even when Bradford's not hurt (which is unusual) he's just a mediocre QB at best.

Really like the idea of bringing in Bradford BUT Idzik also needs to sign at least one solid starting OG. Geno has taken some serious hits this season and I've got doubts Bradford can finish the season if he was behind the same OL. LT & RT aren't elite but they're decent enough to avoid being major weaknesses. Mangold is still solid. Carrying two duds at Guard is way too much for an injury-prone QB.

D'Brick, <young player>, Mangold, <solid free agent>, Giacomini should be good enough to allow Jets to draft WR or a second TE in the first two rounds. I'm feeling confident that Mangold can help out whomever is @ LG if he's got a RG that doesn't need his help. Hate to say it but CB would also be a solid pick within the first two rounds. Winters is struggling but I think he's a decent option as the first OL to come off the bench. Too many holes to try and grab two solid OG this offseason. The Guards are bringing down the whole offense & we can't rely on two developmental players on both spots.

This is a good basic plan. Get Bradford and use some high picks in the draft to go OL. Then maybe sign a wideout in FA.

Unfortunately the Jets also need to pick up at least one cb, so there is that, too. I'd feel better with two new Cb's, ftr.

Bradford will be worth a shot, obviously he can't stay healthy and you can't rely on him but if for some reason he stays healthy you have a good guy to develop.

I actually like what McGloin's been able to show but why would he not want to be a Houston Texan and reunite with Bill O Brien if both teams give meh contracts? They were really close back at Penn St and Mallett is a FA after this year if I recall so he and Savage would be fighting for that Texans gig.

McGloin's been a victim of not being drafted which is why he has not been able to get playing time. Oakland sees him as expendable and not worth committing too over time. He really hasn't been all that bad for them, given the flaws on offense he's worked with.

Bradford is a good short term gamble. If he can stay healthy, he's a big upgrade. If he can't, we have Geno on the cheap or 2 more years & we're no worse off than we are now, save for less cap space. He's the type of deal that won't kill you cap for a number of years. It's just a pricey, low commitment contract.
