An offense that can not block will never be successful! This is so fundamental, yet the so-called football experts in the media who are ex QBs mostly will tell you it is all about the friggin QB. We are all are being brainwashed on this.
Phil Simms and Bill Cower said it. That was about it.
Too bad you didn't give your offensive line pep talk to Mike Maccagnan five years ago--he has never heard of the position.
Not sure where this belongs but just need to express that it feels like the last 4 years in jets land literally nothing has gone right meanwhile for the past 10 years it seems like nothing has gone wrong for the Patriots.
Not to quibble - or depress you even more - but it's been more like 17 or 18 years of high cotton for the Patriots.
Yeah but i figured we could at least point to spygate & the 2010 playoff win as warts..pretty much since that game its been nothing but shitting gold for New England & shitting bricks for the Jets.
The Jets have sucked a lot over the last 50 years because they've been poorly run. Not because of some league conspiracy to keep them down.
If it wasn't for the Falcons choking away a 28-3 lead and the Seahawks passing it from the 1 with Marshawn Lynch as their top RB, they would've lost 5 Super Bowls after their last win in the big game. So depressing to see them win both games.
There is nowhere else to post this so I'll put it here. Do you think our offense sucked against Phily? Get this, Luke Falken, even after 10 sacks, had a better game against Phily than Baker Mayfield had against SF.
The Patriots have actually lost 5 Super Bowls. Belichick has been in 4 of those losses, 3 as head coach and 1 as DC. So if your dream came true, it would be 7 Super Bowl losses.
