No, I know what Palatonio said, but you've also got the rest of ESPN saying that the Saints have every intention of drafting Bush. So it's not all guaranteed.

By the same token, the #4 and #29 is too much, the #71 aside.

I was not one of these guys but this makes me rethink the end to last year. A lot of people were clammering for losses at the end of last season and when we one the 4th game everyone( a lot of posters, at least) griped that it just took us out of the bush sweepstakes. If we would have actually lost that one game then this may not be happening. We would all be sitting here thinking "OMG! Bush is a JET". Now we go through this. JETS need a culture change. Mangini + Bush may = such a change. For the record, bash away, I would still rather have Young.

#4 + #29 is not enough to move up to #2. It's 160 points short.

#71 is 240 so it gives them an 80 point benefit.

    #4 #35 #71 counter.... done deal

No, I understand. My point is that I wouldn't have given them any package that included #4 AND #29, no matter what the third pick was.

    I would absolutely send them #4, #35, and #71.

Either way, the Saints make out like Bandits (they get the guy they were going to draft anyway- DBrick) and the JETS get Reggie. I smell WIN WIN...

I broke my fiancee's coffee table when I saw that the Texans signed Williams, she told me I wasn't allowed to watch the draft at her house.

Hopefully they do as soon as the Saints get on the clock, maybe influence Tangini to do something.

Don't do something stupid! 1 guy isn't worth AJ Hawk, a starting caliber running back and a starting caliber o-tackle!

JETS fans went nuts when we took Justin Miller in the 2nd last year, what the hell are they going to do if we somehow snag Reggie? The beer sales at the draft will be in the trillions.

I would deal the #4, #29 and #71 for Bush. I would not go an inch higher than that. You have to give up value to get value.

If Bush breaks his leg in training camp and we could've had D'Brickashaw Ferguson and DeAngelo Williams, we will look pretty stupid. But hindsight is 20/20.

On Quite Frankly (ESPN 2), Sal Pal just said that Saints have every intention of taking him, and that Sean Payton likes him alot. Also, that Tanny and Mangini are discussing right now whether its worth it to move it.

Trading three picks to move up two spots to draft a RB is assinine IMO. This team has so many holes, trading all those picks for Bush assures one thing. We all will be watching next year as Bush gets engulfed behind the line over and over as the OL gets neglected once again. Stay at 4, keep our picks and if Bush falls, great. If not, happily draft Ferguson at #4 and be content with a premier LT for the next 10 years.
