Joyner is horrible he takes bad angles and misses so many coverage plays. Get a new safety and some LBers who tackle this D will be great
Defense would be good if the offense could stay on the field for more then a minute or two at a time. They definitely improved from last year, but those long 'rests' the offense gave them didn't help the last month.
I agree, but then, we got progressively worse everywhere. I'd say we look like one of the poorest teams in the league at this point. AGAIN.
Defense also has a part in the long drives. Even in the Pats 2nd game they gave up quite a bit of longer drives.
All they had to do was keep the Lions from scoring a TD with 2 minutes left and half the field to go. It's not like asking them to be the 85 Bears. Just keep the Lions out of the end zone.
