Its a results oriented business. Rex is a smart coach who knows how to lead men and his teams wins games and thats really what matters. The fact that he says what he thinks is refreshing. The fact that he doesn't adhere to the button down taciturn corporate approach epitomized by BB is truly refreshing. He is who he is and it works for him. You can like it or not like it, but in the end the bottom line is that he's been successful with his approach.
