I'll keep my eye out for him on the streets of LA. A gayish-Latino type? He should be easy to pick out. Not that anyone cares, but here's another article he did on anti-spongebob squarepants groups: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6853667/ Apparently some people back in '05 thought that Spongebob was gay and they freaked the f out over it. And so Captain Hack Douche began his article with "Since I am a compassionate and tolerant person, I hate to generalize about any particular group." Could he have generalized Jets fans any more wrongly? "The typical Jets fan is male, about 26-35, built like Weeb Eubank, and has been wearing the same No. 12 jersey since the sixth grade, a garment that usually has been spared the indignity of repeated machine washings." I'm 35 so he's right there, but only til next May. Then I suppose I become atypical. At 6'1/180...I'm built more like a receiver than ANY coach but us in the 25-35 crowd should have been compared to Tuna, since that's the typical fan's era according to him. In 6th grade - the Sack Exchange was alive and well. Why would I have worn #12 when #99 had a lot more meaning and spirituality. I'm deeply offended by this guy.
He kind of looks like JP Losman, I bet it's just him writing under an alias. Probably still pissed about that strip sack last year.
I guess if the Jets loose a couple games he will say the Jets are turning into a team everyone can feel ambivalent towards and use some tired crap equating how the players act to the fanbase as the basis for his article.
I love articles like this, it means we're starting to get under the skins of the media who have been taking shots at the Jets since I can remember. This is football, teams are meant to be tough and nasty, nobody had a problem with the Raven all these years so why the double standard now?
There is great press about the Jets all over the planet...why not read someone with some good cred, like the Wall Street Journal: http://online.wsj.com/public/page/s....asp?lg=NFL&g=20090920020&ref=hea&tm=&src=TOP
