Do you get the feeling some folks actually miss the Mangini/Edwards era of Jets Football? I'd rather win and be hated than get my ass handed to me on a regular basis but my coach makes nonsensical post game interviews or is so boring that he puts half the room into a coma. If there's a little talk along the way, that's still better than being a drone or putting it bluntly, being a pussy. They don't have to like us, just play us on Sundays.. When the Jets were nice and politically correct, they were a league wide fckn joke. Those days are over and good riddance as well. We're not the Patriots and Mangina is gone. No more Patriot envy from Woody or the FO.. Either get with the New Age Jets or watch from a safe distance. Memo from the Jets to the rest of the league: We really don't give a fck if you like us or not. We ain't your daddy's NY Jets anymore.
Sports are changing to much. The NHL is trying to get rid of fights, and quarterbacks aren't allowed to get hit anymore. You can't talk shit anymore without being slammed by reporters and writers. And idiot writers like this one shouldn't even be a writer. Oh well..

And another thing, his demographic of our fans is nothing further than the truth. 23 - 35 years old makes you a fan of Wayne, Curtis, Vinny, Toon and Walker. Most in the dempgraphic have not seen Namath play. THe only thing I agree with is the league is taking notice of the Jets and it's not for losing!!!
It's mickey mouse sportswriting. I understand we'll be hated if we win but there's no reason to take a shot at the fans w/ kindergarten insults.
Right now there is a narrow spectrum of fans that hates the Jets. Rival fans like the Phins, Bills and Pats (aka the 'writer' of this 'article'), some rival fans of Rex's previous team like the Steelers (aka Cuntavelli), Browns and Bengals, and teams that get their ass kicked by this ass-kicking defense. Give it a couple-few of seasons and maybe a championship or two and the terrible clown writer of this article maybe have a tiny bit of his childish article proven correct. I'd rather have a team that the rest of the league hated for loudly winning than a team that the rest of the league pitied for quietly losing.
