Well yeah but if the Jets ever did go on a run to the SB or even win the SB the Patriot game would still be looked on in retrospect as maybe the most important of the playoffs, a signature game that set the team on its way. Let's face it, if we can beat the lion in its den there are no more excuses, we could beat anyone anywhere.

Second biggest? Wow, what a franchise. This game isn't even top 10 to the Patriots.

I agree. If we win, it is easy to make an argument that it is the second biggest win in team history. However, today it is hard to say that it is bigger than any of the 3 AFC championship games.

Gotta disagree with Rex, I would say this Game ranks # 4.

    1) Superbowl 3
    2) AFC Championship Game Jets vs. Broncos 98
    3) AFC Championship Game, Jets vs. Colots 09
    4) AFC Divisional Jets vs. Patriots 10

I'll say this, if they win it's the second biggest win, because all those other AFC Championship games were losses. I guess you can say the 1968 AFL Championship would be there with it. I don't think anything will top Super Bowl III just because of its historical significance for the league and sports in general, even if we win another one. Of course it would be bigger for those of us who are Jet fans and didn't see the first one.

I think a lot of this is that the game you play next is the biggest one. If we win next week is bigger.
