Who started this rumor? Obviously no one involved with the NFL because Elway would have to be as smart as a potato to make that trade. A first AND another player for some mediocre at best QB? At what point did this seem even remotely reasonable to you?
The outlet reporting it is linked in the OP. Not sure why you're coming after me for it. I don't know why Denver would do it, and I don't have any insight into what Elway is thinking. He could be desperate. Trading for Sanchez isn't something I would have done either. Taylor might be mediocre, but he's certainly better than Sanchez and whomever else might be on the market.
Not sure if I'd agree that Taylor is better than Sanchez. It's an obviously made up trade idea that none of those teams came up with. Yet you asked if they were still thinking about it meaning you honestly believe it could possibly be true.
