I'm really pissed off with this damn team. It is not the pitching, as I've been saying for weeks, and tonight was a perfect example.

How much better can a guy pitch? Hell, Rasner could have probably pitched the ninth too if there were a lead, or even at least a tie. Instead, this shit lineup can't string together an inning of hits.

I've had this complaint about Girardi before, and I'm going to say it again: Joe, stop screwing with the damned lineup. That's the one thing I give Torre, the lineup was the same every night.

Screw this revolving bullshit behind the plate too. Posada is back, he should be playing. You can pull him late if you have a significant lead. Beyond that, why the hell is Wilson Betemit pinch hitting for Molina with Posada on the bench?

It's sad, because guys are hitting the ball. It's just that guys aren't doing it in the same inning. I blame a lot of that on inconsistency with the lineup.
    ----------------

That "swing" call on Giambi was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Just like last week, the ump was influenced by the action of the catcher. Just disgusting.

Yankees comp. pick Jeremy Bleich is pitching for Stanford right now on ESPN 2. Probably his last inning.

I'm 2-2 at Yankee Stadium this year. Two visits, two Yankee losses. Isn't KC the worst team in the AL Central?

Had good seats though, Row 4, right where Jeter did that face first dive into the stands a few years back.

In seat concession service is nice.

Thing I noticed sitting there, almost nobody in those seats are Yankee fans.

Lots of busniess types and touritsts. The 4 ppl in the row behind me were all out of towners.

During a payoff pitch it was like everybody was stnading and making noise except the front few sections who acted like they were at a PGA tounament.

was it cashman that begged this HGH piece of shit pettitte to come back or was that "Tampa'? Hopefully we can get 4 good innings out of Joba tomorrow so we have a shot to get the split on Monday against the powerhouse Royals. Please extend cashman, as Alio said, he did lock up Jeter long term! oh, and he got Contrerras!

What an insane game we've been seeing...

Damon 5-5 is up to bat...Going for 6-6.

Rivera gave up a bomb, then Soria gave one up to Jorgie in the 9th...

and he got abreu for a pile of nothing, revamped the yankees farm system from the laughing stock of the league to a top-5 system. Lets not forget about our all-star 2nd baseman he got (minus this season so far), a solid CF (whether or not you think he's the future, which I personally do not), a #1/#2 starter (CMW, when he's on), and numerous pitchers in the minors who will be able to contribute to the big league club soon.

Lets also forget about the 2 high-ceiling catxching prospects in A-Ball Charleston (Jesus Montero, Austin Romine), or Brett Gardner (CF, AAA, who I think will contribute this year), Austin Jackson (5-tool CF, AA, possibly contribute next year), Jose Tabata (RF, AA, still a few years away)... lets forget about all that and blame Cashman for underperforming players.

It's very embarrassing reading the posts on this thread and how easily supposed Yankee fans throw in the towel.

2 things. he need to be held at a much higher standard than any other gm because he has had blank checks his entire career with the yankees.

we cant give him credit for players who havent played in the majors yet. Also, I think he has more say in signing a latroy hawkins than he does in drafting a Jesus Montero
