Some good team will get a really solid veteran punter right when they need him and we get our embryo back.
Sad to see Morestead go, as he did an awesome job for us (better than I expected at his age), but Mann is our punter and he's back, so Morestead had to go. There's no need to keep them both on the roster.

I thought the Jets should have held onto Morstead and brought him back next year but I guess that would have made too much sense.
he's 45 and was out of the NFL this year until we signed him. we have our punter. no reason to keep morestead around. he did a great job and still has some gas left in the tank but he had a great career it's just almost over
I haven't seen any players perform better with this team or under this CS that weren't playing at or above that level previously. Rookies notwithstanding.
Ok, a guy that has actually played the fullback position on the active roster, that is a centimeter of progress. Hopefully he can block. There's also potential for trick plays as he started with SD State as a QB.

now what if I say Ashtyn was solid today? Dude might be the most hated on Jet outside of GVR, and Davis is likely one of the better players in defense lol.
