I couldn't remember if it was this or an arrest or battered girlfriend. Something of this magnitude for sure.
he gave it his all but he had nothing left in the tank. We should have been using adams and ty and perine
No doubt, because to the Gase factor. I suppose he thought he and the jets were good. Delusional as we know.
He has labrum surgery right before the draft. Plus, his life story is freaking nuts. His dad shot his mom while she was holding baby Reuben. Then dad went on the lamb for like 20 years and was arrested right around the time Reuben was leaving Bama. I highly doubt he has anything left at this point in his career.
Callahan was a solid player last year so I wonder what the price would be for a potential trade? Would be surprising if JD wasn't one of the guys calling about him.
He was the dude who was sent home for not taking a physical and/or arguing with someone during the routine physical.
Maybe throwing Bless in with whatever offer is/may-be made would have added some value. Oh well to that.
I read the ex girlfriend completely made up the DV story as a vendetta. Looks like she was a squeezer and out for $ and revenge for some reason. For that reason alone, if he looks good, sign him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting cap consequences based upon recent cuts and PS signings: 1. The sum cap consequences for these moves over the last couple days is about $4.5 million in dead money and PS salary. This will go up based upon Griffins new contract. 2. Several guys are getting counted doubly on PS/Dead and Griffin will be counted doubly on Dead/Active. Example: Griffin cut moves 950K to dead money and his new salary will be added to the cap cost. Yeboah cut causes 180K in dead money and his PS signing costs 165K. This is particularly interesting because he cost nothing against the cap due to not being in top51, but by getting cut, the money becomes dead and now goes against the cap. Adams cut causes 300K dead and his PS is 252K. 3. As of now we are at about $11mm cap space and this will go down by the amount over 700K that Griffen gets or that any of the waiver pick-ups get. https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/new-york-jets/
he's only 28. he was a beast but got cut for off the field issues. picke dup by wahsington and blew out his ACL and has been rehabbing for 2 years. he may have some left in the tank but character is a concern but hearing that I can kind of see why
Honestly it's pretty fucked up that you can be merely accused of something, by someone who later admitted to making it up, and still have a shadow cast on your character for years after. Foster has done other things that reflect poorly on his character but the domestic violence stuff seems to have been completely fabricated.
The only time Gore never made 2 yards on a run, was when he needed to run for 1 to get a first down, it was one of the most frustrating things ever. All you heard all game was Gore up the middle for 2 but he was constantly stopped needing a yard in a 4th and 1 situation or 3rd and 1 etc. A fantastic Pro btw, to keep on plugging away for all that time is an amazing feat.
Nobody should be mad at Gore. But Gase running out an ancient RB on a team going no where and refusing to play young guys? I can't imagine being around someone that dense.
Bringing back Zuniga for PS is weak. He's the highest upside guy out there right now? In the unlikely event he actually becomes decent by year 4 he's walking in year 5 anyway. Why waste the resources. Furthermore if you have extra spots, a useful PS player is a back-up kicking specialist in case your K or P go down. This way you can evaluate them under calm circumstances and not go nuts at the last minute.
