It's a big stage game against a better D than he generally faced all year. His performance in this game is more telling than what he did against Oregon State in a late-night game that very few people watched. I'm just saying, people who think this kid would come in and immediately be an upgrade at QB are probably not fans ready to deal with the major growing pains he will have in adjusting to the NFL.
One game isn't going to cause their stock to drop. If that were the case, Andrew Luck would not have gone first in the draft, since he played poorly against Oregon. But I do think one of the two will fall to us.
Mariota has atheticism and a good arm, but he is going to have to be taught an NFL offense, and how to go through reads, and how to throw into tight windows. I just hate the offense Oregon runs in terms of prepping a QB for the NFL. I don't think it can.
LOL, FSU fans are already complaining. You do realize that the Refs bailed out FSU time after time this season?Do you remember the Notre Dame game? Your team is overrated, and if they're lucky enough to beat Oregon, Alabama /Ohio state will destroy FSU.
Enjoy this year. The Seminoles will once again be irrelevant next season ,and the new and improved Gators will annihilate Jimbo Fisher and company.
I just think Winston is the pro QB in this game, he makes the pro throws. Mariota is a Kaepernick type, should be a 2nd rounder
