You know I kind of imagined your voice sounded like that. My neice is deaf. She somehow has the ability to WRITE the English language correctly. Maybe a few more classes? Don't perpetuate the myth that hearing challenged people are illiterate. It's really insulting. _
Well, not all hearing people can write the ENGLISH correctly. By the way, you forget to check your spelling. Anyways, we had conversions in another thread in few days ago and you said nothing about my English. Why now? Are you upset that there are more than acceptable number of people who dislike Mariota or what?
I'm sorry but you sound illiterate when you attempt to type the English language. Maybe your grammar check was working better a few days ago? Don't be an insult to the hearing impaired. Take some pride in how you represent your kind. _
Best possible outcome: Both QBs play astoundingly, winner goes on to win the championship. And hopefully we have our choice of the two. If not we commit mass-suicide because even with a top 5 pick we still cant get one of two potential franchise qbs.
I don't usually watch college football, but I want to see this game, to watch the 2 QBs. I think watching players in very important playoff games can tell you a lot about them.
Yeah but some folks touting that they should bail on Carr for Mariota are also suggesting that Cooper is the real deal. How can you not bail on a young WR if Cooper is sitting there? _
How is Florida States defense? I know the Pac 12 doesnt have the best defenses, so it would be nice to see Mariota against an awesome. Either way I'm excited to see either play against Alabama in the National Championship.
I'm hoping this game can prove me wrong about Winston on the field. His off the field issues are a big problem and would be even worse in NY, I just see him being killed by the media even worse than Mark and Geno were. I wouldn't mind Winston clearly outplaying Mariota in case we don't get the #1 pick. As of today my hopes would be 1. Mariota 2. Cooper 3. Winston
This year? Terrible. Which is what scares the shit out of me against Oregon. This game is likely gonna be a shootout. Both with high powered offenses and no defense.
I honestly don't get you fuckin people with wanting to take Cooper in the first. We would be drafting a wide receiver with no fuckin QB!! Having a super high powered receiver doesn't win championships. A great QB does. Let's draft Cooper and let Geno Smith throw him the ball. I am perfectly fine with Decker, Harvin, and Kerley. Grab another good free agent and all we need is a competent QB. You don't need a receiver costing you a top 5 pick unless it is the last piece to your puzzle.
How do you think the Bills feel? We are gonna have a top 5 pick and you are gonna use it on a receiver?! How many times do you get a top 5 pick? Let's say we draft Cooper at number 4. And let's say we get a veteran to play QB, which there isn't much on the market next year. Look at Buffalo. Sammy Watkins has had a great year. A very good year. But what has it gotten them? They will likely finish 8-8, right in the middle. Probably not make the playoffs and if by some miracle they do, they will lose instantly. Now you finish 8-8 with a great receiver and still no answer at QB. There are two HUGE prospects at a position we have needed for fuckin ever!! Waste it on a receiver. Are you out of your fuckin mind!
Good point Falco. By the way Stokes probably is shedding the tears of happiness now. He was trying to get across the point you are making for a long time now.
It makes no sense to draft a receiver in our position. None. And don't give me that best player available bullshit. We don't need a top 5 receiver!!! We need a QB above everything and if there isn't one on the board, you take an offensive lineman, another position we desperately need. How is a receiver going to help this team? We didn't have issues at receiver this year. Decker is very very good. Harvin has been a very big playmaker in the little time he's had and Ivory is a beast. Amaro is looking to be coming along, although he was set back by this concussion. Our issues are coaching, offensive line, secondary, and QUARTERBACK!!!
Cook has said he is not going to declare, he said he would only go if it looked as if he was going to be among the top QB's in the 1st round which at this point it doesn't look that way. He would need a very strong showing in the Cotton Bowl for that to happen. That being said I would like Cook in the 2nd, I think he has a better chance than Mariota or Winston at long term success, though it would take some time on the bench and a good QB coach.
