I'm still trying to figure out which WR I like best same with edge. but essentially just getting those 2 spots covered would be ideal. even better if we could trade down and still do it.

Realistically Hutchison is the best edge but I don’t think he falls to 4. Thibodeaux is explosive he reminds me of chandler Jones and I’d take him in a heartbeat at 4.

Burks is by far the best WR in this class. Wilson at 2 and Williams at 3 even with the injury.

London is going to be a bust. I just watched tape again this morning on him and I just don’t think he’ll hold up with his frame and I noticed easy concentration drops. Also noticed on a lot of nice plays he made he got shaken up and hurt. I just don’t think he’s the guy.

well yeah hutch is the bets but he likely goes 1 or 2. KT could fall to us at 4, I mean more the rest of the pack with guys like ojabo, JJ, jackson, ebakike, etc

Ojabo scares me a bit. He’s really raw.

yeah I need to delve into the WRs and edges more to see who I really wind up liking. it's on my list of things to do leading up to the draft

When you get to Devin Lloyd you will be impressed. Both Lloyd and Burks are going to be the real deal.

I looked at lloyd because I don't consider him an edge. I consider him a Lber and think he's not a good fit for our defense. He's a SAM in a 4-3 which for us rarely sees the field. We mostly run 5 DBs and a Mike and Will. Only way i'd look at a SAM in the 1st is if they could also put their hand in the dirt and rush the passer and I don't think lloyd does that at the NFL level. If we were to take a LBer in the 1st I'd prefer dean who would be the perfect WILL for us and be able to replace mosley in 2023 when he's cut but even then with our needs i'm more into taking a LBer later on like the late 2nd-4th. guys who can be there who would fit would be

    christian harris (will 2nd)
    Brandon Smith (will 3rd)
    Quay Walker (Will 3rd)
    chad muma (mike 3rd)
    Brian Asamoah (will 4th)
Damone Clark (Sam or Will, can edge rush 4th)

I think we should grab one of these guys later instead. Were also banking on sherwood currently and maybe even a healthy cashman if were lucky but I doubt it. I think we can wait until the 3rd for a LBer and maybe the 4th depending how things go. I think with our top 4 picks we should get at least an Edge, WR, and TE. maybe a DT if one falls to us. if a 1st round DT falls to 35 i'd grab them up. then we can use our 3rd and 2 4ths on S, CB, O-line.

I think Lloyd can play Mike and Will without any issues. Definitely not limited to a Sam role. Jets couldn’t stop the run or the pass for that matter… Lloyd you can plug and play with Mosley and it would be a huge upgrade. He has great ball skills and awareness on the field combined with unbelievable athleticism. I think he’s an absolute stud and a perfect fit for the Jets

I just don't see him as a good fit for our defense. I'd rather have a smaller speedier guy who does better in zones. Our Lbers were bad last year, make no mistake about it but alot of it was mental (williams) too and mosley lacking athleticism. Sherwood is expected to start with mosley and quincy being the sub guy in the rare spots we run 3 Lbers. sherwood is projected as our mike and mosley our will. I'd like to get a guy to replace mosley in 2023. even if they don't play much as a rookie. damone clark I think would be perfect for that. also it's pretty clear Lber isn't a priority for the jets I really doubt we draft in in the 1st 2 rounds which eliminates lloyd from the conversation.

I disagree I think he would have a huge impact on our D right away.

to each their own! I don't think he's a bad prospect by any means, I think he'll do better in a man scheme with heavy blitzes or as a 3-4 ILB. It's why i wanted JOK last year over collins. Collins went to arizona and did well, but JOK was a beast as a rookie. I think lloyd is more comparable to collins but without the edge rush ability and i'd rather have a JOK type
