Thanks. I understand where you're coming from and can respect that. It would be nice to have a superstar offensive player on the Jets for a change. If the Jets are really high on Benjamin, I hope that they can trade down, garner an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick and still get him if he's the WR they decide to go with.

And you're right...I wouldn't be shocked at all to see the Jets draft a defensive player in the first round. LOL If they do, I just hope it's an OLB and not a CB or S.

I've seen him play a lot, but I've never seen him have a great game (although I know he has had some). I know that his HC at GA, Mark Richt, says he's very intelligent and a great QB, but I just don't see the great QB part. I've seen him make a lot of bad reads, and throw dumb picks, and his accuracy isn't the greatest, nor is his arm. I've also seen him choke more than once when the game is on the line. I can't see him being more than a career backup. If the Jets like him and draft him, I'd hope it wouldn't be before the 5th round at the earliest, and preferably the 6th round.

Not a great arm? Probably has the biggest arm other than Derrick Carr in this entire draft. I'm a lot higher on him than most people here. I hope we take him in the 4th.

I haven't seen him as much as i would like but it seemed to me he was a gamer and kept his team close... His arm looked solid but his accuracy needed a lot of work because he throws some bad picks...

Just wanted more info because i got a buddy who just loves the kid and wanted to get another guys opinion.

Calvin Pryor would be a great target at Safety if everybody else falls off the board

Appears like Pryor seems to be rated higher than Clinton-Dix.

Pryor is moving up fast in the rankings no doubt. I feel that Clinton-Dix is still the more rounded safety though. His defensive awareness, body type and speed is rare.

I'm a bama fan so i might be a bit bias but IMO he is still the top rated safety.

Having said that I would love Pryor but not with our first... If he falls to our 2nd pick i would draft him in a heartbeat!

If we take Kelvin Benjamin, I'd be absolutely furious.

I'd much rather take ODB, Davante Adams, or even Brandin Cooks.

That being said, given the board you provided, I'd rather stay away from WR in round 1, and go Calvin Pryor or Kony Ealy (if Rex/Idzik thinks he'd be a suitable OLB in a 3-4).

I could be wrong but Benjamin looks like Stephen Hill 2.0

I don't like the idea of Benjamin in the first.

He might not be as raw as Stephen Hill, but he is still a raw player who certainly isn't NFL ready.

I don't know we have the personnel to help a raw WR develop. I think we need a WR to help the QB develop, not the other way around. In the second round if he's still there, go for it. But I would stay away in the first.

i'd take amaro over benjamin in that scenario. lower ceiling but higher floor and a more immediate impact i think.

Benjamin will be a great WR in this league.

His potential is too good to pass up and he was twice the player Stephan Hill was in school.

Bejamin looked impressive today! To see him next to the other WRs was great. He's an absolute beast and looked like he was DE. That kids shoulders compared to anyone in this class is crazy... No corner will be able to muscle him off the ball or be able to tackle him... He will need a safety or a LB to bring that guy down.. Woww

I was truly amazed by his size, speed and hands.

I think he will wind up a TE in the NFL.
