    Well, the umpire wanted to go home, since Beltran obviously beat out an infield hit that was called the last out. Mets score 5 runs (Reyes 4 for 5, Endy, Carlos I, and Green with two hits each), but the pitching was just atrocious.

    Well, fair is fair. Wright got thrown out last night by the shortstop and they called him safe. 2 out of 3. We'll take it. Go Mets!

    So I just read where the Cubs lost Prior for the year. Wonder how sweet Lou is feeling these days...WAIT, I know..he lets us all know.:wink:

    Eh you can't win em all, Pelfrey has me worried though, I wasn't expecting him to be this bad so early on. I still think we'll be ok though. He'll come around just needs to have some more time with Peterson.

    I was really high on Pelfrey comming into this season, but so far he's done nothing.

    then again, you're #5 starter isint necessarily going to be a 20 game winner.

    Cross fingers for a healthy Pedro in July/August.
