First of all there was no tampering by Woody. Chances are he didn't want to sign Revis in 2014. He hates his agents. And still hasn't personally met with Revis even though he signed him. If Kraft doesn't like rats then don't act like one.
I think that personalities don't play such a big role in the decision to sign players, or let them go. It's a business decision. Coaches cut players they like all the time. As for Woody not meeting with Revis, I didn't know that. I'm not sure that it really means anything, though...
is this really being discussed? are we such a huge whiney bunch of cunts that a cry baby piece about another teams owner is staying on the first page for DAYS and DAYS.
Look our organization smacks of incompetency but not deceit. It's the other way around for your team.
That's the last that I heard a few days ago. That even though Woody signed Revis to this big money contract they still haven't met. It of course went down very fast. Not sure if they had telephone conversations but based on reports the Jets cap people were mostly involved. Although I'm sure the parameters were set by Mac and Woody. Usually when a team signs a high profile player you would think the owner would try to "romance" the guy. Take him out to dinner, etc.But probably in this case considering the bad blood that didn't happen. To me Woody after all of the bad pub told Mac, "Just pay him!"
Your cheating coach knew about his misadventures in Gainesville. He was best buddies with the HC (Urban Meyer ) and U get bet your bottom dollar he knew his background. He took him because he fits the dirty low cheating life profile that bellicheat loves so much. To say otherwise is suggesting that the NE scouting dept. especially belliceat are the dumbest in the NFL.
OK so maybe Kraft and BB didn't know that Hernandez was going around and killing guys. But you would think considering all of his baggage in CT (he's from an area not that far from Boston) and at Florida before signing him to that deal they would have stuck a PI on him to see what he was up to. It's called due diligence and obviously they didn't do it or didn't care.
Urban Meyer was famous for recruiting thugs and behavior cases for his program, Belichick knew what he was getting, I remember there was like 31 arrests of players during his time there
Right now, there's a bunch of guys in an office at Lufthansa who are saying the same thing. Hindsight is always 20/20. Sad to say, there have been plenty of NFL players who have committed homicide. As I've said before, the process of breeding pro football players doesn't produce wonderful human beings.
Father time is catching up to Brady and the Pats will soon be back in the cellar where they've always belonged, never to be heard from again. tic tic tic
That's the moral equivalent of waiting for the girl you crushed on in high school to get divorced, or for her husband to die. I can't think of any athletes in any sport where I'm sitting around, waiting for them to get old...
Before you said this I was starting to change my mind about you despite all of your ridiculous posts in the past. But now you've reinforced my negative opinion of NEP fans. They will sink to the lowest levels to defend their team. This situation is nothing like the air crash by that maniac. He was obviously sick and demented. Kraft signing someone like Hernandez to millions and then killing a bunch of people. If it was us I'd be saying the same thing. In spite of the 4 rings outside of Bountygate your team has produced the 5 most embarrassing moments in recent NFL history.
I have a feeling the upcoming season games against the Prats are going to be very memorable. The hate between the two franchises is at an all time high. Woody and Kraft hate each other. And the Pats fans give us something to hate more than ourselves!
Yea he really went there. Pats fans will use any argument possible no matter how low to make them feel better as long as their team keeps winning, no exceptions
Or more like taking $1 million dollars from your boss and agreeing to be the next head coach and bolting before said boss's corpse was cold. _
