Robby Anderson is going to be another Jet that never achieves his full potential with this crappy team, then goes on to another team and flourishes.

If there's one thing I know about the Jets, it's that their savvy personnel moves are limited to seeing a flash and thinking it's a flash in the pan, and letting a good player go.

Then they see a guy lighting a fart, think it's a flash, and sign the guy to a multi year deal.

Anderson slowed up. Go watch the play again.

Well looks like Robby Anderson has gotten into it with Chris Carter

It appears that Chris Carter made some comments about Anderson on his show, the tweeting convo has been deleted on Robby's page though

Well in his defense the predictable off season Jets bashing in the national media has started with the news Cousins is seriously considering signing with the Jets...Listening to these guys break down the Jets roster and coach makes my ears bleed.

    I like the guy.

Best big play/homerun threat the Jets have had in a loooooooooong time.

The Jets need to be patient with him especially if they're gonna spend a gazillion dollars on Cousins.

Anderson needs to learn to channel his anger more to his benefit; stop acting self destructively, and use it as motivation to prove everyone wrong. Kid is in a tenuous spot right now.

Robby better be in the weight room. Big time deep ball WR but needs to be able to handle physical DB's better going forward.

Robby cannot use social media as a means for expressing his displeasure because as it stands, professional athletes are under the microscope 24/7.

He's been in the news far too often for all the wrong things so naturally people are going to come after you and talk garbage.

I'm starting to doubt Robby will understand how to conduct himself before its too late.

With Allen Robinson hitting the market, I rather spend money on a guy who I at least know will produce and likely won't have these off the field issues, than hanging my hat on Robby being able to grow up.

And if it wasn't for his off-field issues (hell, even some of the on-field antics), I'd be quite excited with Anderson teaming with a health Enunwa, Kearse, along with Stewart and Hansen. I've become more on board with Allen Robinson after his latest arrest.
But Robinson, Anderson, Enunwa, Kearse, Stewart & Hansen is a hell of a group.

Agreed. Robby is going to have to fight for his spot as I'm sure neither Macc nor Bowles trust him at this point. I'd think the Jets will be major players for Robinson

Robby Anderson is a mental midget. Sheldon Richardson comes to mind. Hopefully they trade this cancer before it spreads.

Correct - he is clearly not the sharpest tool in the box, but it's too early in my opinion to get rid of this guy. No excuses but he's young, success has come super quick and he isn't savvy - but he's a real talent and the Jets don't have much of that. It's on the organisation to help him develop on and off the field and they should be sure they've done all they can before sending him off to succeed elsewhere.

Give him one more chance and that's it. Talent is too great to let go immediately, but we do not want his influence on the younger guys in the locker room as well as the new draft guys coming in.

Guy is going to piss away an opportunity that most of us wish we had.

He clearly is either emotionally disturbed or just monumentally stupid. The former allows for the possibility of change with therapy and medication, but you can't cure stupid.

A third possibility is that he's immature, but sorry, to me the way he's just doubling and tripling down on his mistakes (losing a college season due to academic ineligibility then being arrested for an altercation at a concert then nine traffic-related charges including two felonies then ugly tweets at a public figure) indicates a much more serious problem than immaturity.

Through his posts and actions I take it he's incredibly uneducated and immature.

I don't know if he has any underlying issues since I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist, but this kid is going to get himself in a lot of trouble if he can't get his shit together.

he's already in trouble and should have be cut. Our society of multiple chances enables this BS, especially with athletes.

This. Have you watched an interview with this kid? My god I realize these kids skate through school but there ought to be some kind of standards. He can barely speak English, almost like it's his second language.
