They are (2-2) and yeah, Robby has done well so far. Nothing crazy, but he is earning his contract. I'm happy for him.
Actually he is 6th in yards with three games still to be played this week. He also dropped a TD pass yesterday and has a whopping 1 TD, which ties him for 53rd in the league among WRs in touchdowns. Berrios is ahead of him.
Robby Anderson with yet ANOTHER awesome game for Carolina with 8 receptions for over 100 yards (113) and a BIG TIME reason why Carolina is now a winning football team @ 3-2. Every Jets fan who was OK with JD not paying Robby Anderson what he deserves doesn't know football and shouldn't watch football anymore.
The biggest reason for bringing Robby back -- even a a slight premium to FMV -- was that you do NOT want to screw around with WR's or the OL with a young, 3rd year QB. We did that with Mark Sanchez and it didn't help in Years 3 and 4. If Robby got a 5year $75 MM deal or something like that, I get not matching the offer. But we couldn't match $24 MM for 2 years? WTF ? That would have been perfect because by Year 3 we probably cut or restructure his deal and then MIms and the others are ready to take up the load. Terrible decision by JD and the FO.
