Also had a woman who was not his wife passed out in the passenger seat. Imagine what the wife has been going through with all these things at once.
It was nighttime on the highway. Speed plus lack of vision is a killer and on the highway speed is a given. The only thing that keeps people from getting hit all the time are men at work speed zones and the fact that nobody is walking on the highway outside of them. I feel bad for everybody involved. Imagine being that truck driver - likely no chance to avoid the collision and he'll be seeing it in his mind's eye for the rest of his life.
w/o knowing a goddam thing about Haskins or his personality I suspected alcohol and drugs from the get. its a prime age for that stuff and the wack decisions that result from it.
It’s LSD with less commitment. It’s the reason drugs should be legal for entertainment purposes. If you want to have an out of body experience, noting is more fun than ketamine
Who gives a shit if ee was drunk or not. It was a tragedy whatever way you look at it. He made a bad decision and it cost him his life. I made a ton of bad decisions at that age luckily I am still alive.
have to disagree. mostly on picayune linguistic terms. meaning i think of tragedy in theatric/literary terms. definitely falls into the "ay yay yay, thats too bad/sad" for sure. and i too am just lucky. but if i werent, my ghost would say my own demise was just kinda stupid cos i was wasted.
