Mo, from what I heard had a high ankle sprain, which is not serious but can be slow to heal. I hope they don't rush him in too quickly or else you can run the risk of it being prolonged thru the entire season. Harrison , Douzable and Ellis should be able to pick up the slack, but Sheldon is a question mark also, so hard to tell how effective he will be.
Snacks has been getting a ton of love. I wouldn't say he's been better than Richardson or Wilk but with those 2 drawing so much attention Snacks has been free to make plays. Loving what I see out of him. I would love to see him and Wilk on the inside with Coples and Richardson on the outside. Thats a nasty 4-3 front.
you've heard wrong. First off high ankle sprains are serious. He doesn't have one and has been practicing already. Every report has been its not serious.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...tes-on-jets-stars-ankle-potential-return-date If you can determine from this article that Mo's injury is NOT a high anklel sprain, you have major interpretation talent. I meant about being not serious, is that it is a minor high ankle sprain. He is practicing, but so what? The Jets won't release the details of it unless you have something?
This front seven has enormous potential, without question. Even Harris (alongside Davis) is enjoying a rebound, no doubt helped by the improved play up front. Po'uha had been fantastic but wasn't getting it done last year. I meant to ask a question, which I suspect I know the answer to but haven't been able to confirm. Wilkerson has one sack so far (in fact IIRC it was showed he beat a double team on the play) but otherwise just three total tackles in two games. I assume this is because he's gotten the majority of the attention from opposing offenses, standing next to a rookie (Richardson), an unproven NT (Harrison) and having Coples out to start the season. Hence, while offenses sold out to neutralize Wilk they were nevertheless beaten by the others on the line. What should evolve going forward, as Richardson and Snacks prove themselves and Coples re-enters the line as a threat to consider is a deadly "pick your poison" for opposing OCs. You can't double team all of these beasts.
