RGIII needs total reconstruction of right knee

    I think he'll be fine after the operations & rehab are complete (unless there's cartilage damage which is permanent). But it will cost him an entire year of his prime. He won't be back until the 2014 season

    Early reports were 6 to 8 months, now 8 to 12. At the 8 month mark would put him available early next season. With his age and work ethic on his side its very possible he is back at some point next year.

    Wow. Redskins are screwed considering they traded their future away for him. They'll probably be ok with Cousins, but he's no RG3, that's for sure. I guess there's no chance of us trading for Cousins now. Too bad for RG3. Hopefully he comes back just as good as before. We need him to keep the Giants away from the playoffs. :p

    If they were able to make these repairs using an arthroscope he might be back next season. I think Frank Gore had similar damage and repairs.

    If it's as his Dad said...major reconstructive it will take longer. Even then medical procedures are much better. If it were 20 years ago he'd be running like Namath
