I think you just answered the question. If the fans know, don't you think the opposing teams know after watching film for 300 hours? I believe on 1 drive they converted four 3rd and longs in a row, obviously they knew what was coming. It's time to mix it up a wee bit. I did notice some new delayed blitz packages which looked great. We just have to make sure we get the QB or at least hurry him. Which we did on a consistent basis, but Favre decided to have his first goo game of the year against us, or should I say Revis and 1 beautiful throw to Moss.
What's great is I am accused of being a homer by some and being negative by others, that tells me I'm pretty much down the middle and can be objective w/ my team. Let's not confuse my point about the Leon situation b/c of your poor reading comrpehension skills. To summarize, I didn't like it but that didn't make it the wrong move.
Haha. We were all joking about what kind of backtrack you would make after Brad Smith's return last night. I'm glad we got our answer. Wouldn't have it any other way from one the board's most...distinct...characters
Favre pretty much sucked for most of the game, then played for a good stretch as well as you could want from a Qb, but then he threw a pick six to kill his team. I know we analyze this stuff in terms of what could the Jets have done better, and do better next time. If we didn't do that we'd have precious little to do here. But sometimes it's more about what the other team did and didn't do. As for the blitzing, I don't think the Jets blitz on every play, so there's that.
You guys really should learn how to read. I NEVER bashed Brad Smith, I said he wasn't leon and he's not. Leon w/ that hole probably takes it the distance but I love Smith and I'm glad we have him. I have never backtracked and I never will. I root for the team to do well even if it means I am wrong, it just so happens I am rarely wrong.
I'm not the only one who felt like this but they were trying to force the ball into Holmes all night. The chemistry will develop organically, there's no need to force it to Holmes and consequently Keller was absent most of the night.
The first 3 weeks it looked bad, the last 2 it's look alot better. I'm can happily admit I could be wrong on this one just like w/ the K. When you actual give opinions you will be wrong from time to time, I realize I'm held to a higher standard and it's starnge that I am wrong but it happens and in a situation like this I love being wrong.
Chemistry was fine in the pre-season, I think Holmes is just rusty. Should be back at 100% after the Broncos & Bye weeks
Bahahaha...what a classic junc post. No one can ever claim you don't make the board more interesting.
