  1. Like i said...we'll return the favior next season and see how much they AND the league like it.

Guarantee you it'll be a completely different story. Always is.

Now we know what the rules are.

Late hits on QB's are OK so long as you 'think' that the QB still has the ball.

We'll see what he thinks of that logic next year when Peyton get speared and tears up his ACL against the Steelers or Texans in Week 4. I'll be sure to visit the Colts Message Board and mention that the opposing player THOUGHT Peyton had the ball.

Gee, Mark Gasteneau hits a QB less than 1/2 second after the ball is gone and he gets flagged.

    Wonder why.

there's no use bitching about it though...it happened and there's no going back.

But these Colts idiots that come onto the board saying it was a legal hit......is f*cking ridiculous.

Go and enjoy the win....stop polluting our board with douchebag posts that have no merit.

Where do you come up this stuff? The NFL treats its QBs like gold and goes out of its way to protect them. A late hit on the QB is a late hit on the QB, there is NO exception for "play action fakes." If you are so sure there is, post a link to the NFL rule that says so, the NFL rules are easy to find on the web. If you don't, you are full of shit.

The hit wasn't "within a second of the hand off." Go back and watch the game clock, it wasn't even close.

And yes there was a holding call, that would have been offsetting penalties and a replay of the down. Instead the Jets lose 5 yards. Once again, bullshit, and if it was Manning you damn well know it would have been called.

The better team won, your team. So try showing some class (like most of your fellow Colts fans are, namely Jabba) and not act like an ass.

Check the NFL Rulebook, you inbred moron.

The hit was NOT a 'close hit' -- it was blatant and Sanchez was standing still.

The ****sucker is going to be fined by the NFL this week. On 2nd though, maybe not -- the NFL doesn't want to bring attention to the biased referreeing that helped the Colts.

i tried to google the video of the hit (no luck) and found a thread about it on a colts forum. most said it was a late hit and should have been a penalty.

these kids here are just trying to stir up trouble before the school bus shows up.

Ok who ever is talking about this "Play Action Fake" does not know the game of football AT ALL! That would mean every single handoff is a "Play Action Fake" and the QB would be a free hit on every single running play. WTF is this crap?

I see, you have to talk smack according to your rules? That's the difference between these teams and their coaches. One will do the job, then talk. The other will talk, then fail to do the job.

    Fyi...

To the people who think Bullitt is a career backup, I think many Colts fans (a majority?) have moved on from Bob Sanders and his 4 games year that he shows up, if that, and welcome Bullitt as a capable starter.

Since I can't start a thread I think the Jets are clearly the AFC East favorites next year, no matter who the Pats try to go out and buy. They are grasping at straws now trying to save what they once had.:gpc::pats_suck:

At least one of your LBs was talking smack last week, just as you and many other Colts fans were, so don't come on here with any more of your inaccurate troll posts. Seriously, what are you still doing on this board? I mean, other than to post your flame-bait?

It was a BS hit, it should have drawn a flag, but it didn't. I'll move on, and so will the organization. But for this no-name to go on TV and act as though the Colts are anything more than mediocre without Manning, is f***in' absurd. Without Manning, the Colts are a sub .500 team.

Colts won. Enjoy it. But GTFO already.

RIGHT, except average 7 yards a carry which is what he was doing right up to the play he got hurt on.

Maybe...and you guys needed the refs in your pocket (holding calls on O-Line, non-call on Sanchez hit, bogus PI call on your WR and blatant PI on Cotchery not called) plus the injuries to beat us.

No talking smack AFTER you win is called being a sore winner, otherwise known as gloating, otherwise known as being a bitch. And please show me where Ryan was anything but respectful towards the Colts and Manning. He was praising them all week saying they were a great team. Colts fans need to stop with this pretend "bulletin board material" and underdog mantra they are spouting, no one is buying it. Having confidence and saying you think you can win is NOT smack talk.

    Show some class already.

No, we'll just hit him 3 seconds after the play is over.....how long does it take a 34 year old to come back from a torn ACL anyway ?
