If this team loses out, Rex will be fired and deservedly so. This team needs a whole new philosphy. Defense first doesnt win in todays NFL anymore and Rex is too stubborn to adapt. Glorified DC but a bad HC....
This, mostly. But I'm weary of the Jets coaching carousel. It seems like we've spent the last decade blaming coordinators on both sides of the ball - until we finally blame the coach. And then the GM. I'd really like to feel a sense of stability. Just not mediocre stability.
I enjoyed watching him be grilled by reporters at the press conference. He just can't pull the trigger on making a change at the QB spot.
I said much earlier in this thread that this poll would have been better served at the end of the season than the middle. I have to wonder if those poll numbers would look the same if taken today or at season's end..
They'd be polar opposite. Jets fans are completely bipolar as a group. When the teams wins they're very happy and when it loses they're in "my dog died" mode. Now that I said that I really need to go watch Baby Face Nelson in Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? again. Man, that was a great performance by Michael Badalucco.
