How about they do a prison like phone call, put bars between them to in the studio. Then give them phones to talk to each other. This will get ugly.

Agreed. I still think the Jets come to their senses and Rex cancels. With all the crap going on right now with the Jets, Fatty is loaded with ammo. Rex has almost no chance to come off looking good. He will be bringing a rock to fight a guy with a machine gun. I get that everyone on the board will say Rex did fine due to the Fatty hatred, but if you look at it from an impartial perspective, Fatty is set up to really put the screws to him.
The only good thing I get from this is that Fatty is having to talk about the Jets and taking the spotlight away from the Giants during the playoffs. Maybe that's Rex's plan.
With the Giants actually doing better than the Jets it may not be as bad as we expect. I'm sure Mike is drooling at the thought of this interview, but I have faith in Rex. The only unfortunate thing is humor/him joking doesn't translate well if he is on the phone.
Rex should have waited till next week when hopefully the Giants are out of it... then he could say "Congrats to the Giants who accomplished what we did the past 2 years" and left it at that.....
Not at all. But don't you know I juggled my schedule around just so I could be at my desk to listen to it. The good part about it is that Steve Tisch's face will be six colors of red when Rex takes the focus off the Giants on the Friday before Championship Weekend.
Awesome post. Best post yet. I'm all for this. I'm hungry for Jets news since last year at this time I was getting ready for a 4 hour drive to Pitt. At the halfway mark on my 3rd trip through Rex's book.
The last thing this franchise needs now is yet another incident in which the HC of the NYJ's or any player therein says something or does something that's could be considered "inept". If I were Woody Johnson, all public appearances by anyone on the Jets payroll would be scripted and kept short, along with being few and far inbetween.
