Selena Spice or something. Girl with an ass probably would do unless she magically decided...

The Jets could have done alot of things different. Rex at least has an in.

Iunno how great of a HC he'd be...I prefer guys like Mangini from the Parcells/BB tree...but going D is never a bad idea, right?

Yes, I miss my Sack Exchange. Let's have some frickin fun at these games. Ryan would at least bring in some criminal menace to this lillywhite, soft yellowunderbelly of a roster.

We need some angry men on this team. Keep the Eagle Scouts.

I would have to take this with a grain of salt. They talk about Rex Ryan going to the Jets and then talk about his father and everywhere he has coached and don't mention the Jets? Obviously Bloomberg doesn't know very much about football.

I don't want to be a party pooper, but remember how Buddy Ryan the HC fared. Not well.

You have some really green googles on. Rhodes and Ed Reed share a position....that's it. Ed Reed is perhaps the best player ever to play the position. Rhodes basically doesn't suck. He's above average at his position. If you think they are more similar, then you are basically retarded and missed watching football this year.

Rex is the perfect guy. True he has some greate players around him but at the same time he is using players that were UFAs and low draft pick and put them in positions to make them successfull.

He would be the perfect DC. Only time will tell what kind of HC he would make.

This mornings news said Scottenheimer was the favorite.

Realize this, if we get Ryan, we are getting a coach with a good philosophy, but are still without the players who can make that philosophy successful.

I don't know how we can have a favorite when there are still a lot of people to interview unless the Jets are just going through the motions. (I would think that more than just a possibility)

I personally think Schottenheimer may be the worst of all the candidates they have. For one thing he doesn't come across as being tough enough to be a HC in this league.

This is the best news yet!

It might take a while to get the interview, but the wait will be worth it.

Put it this way - The Jets defense with Jenkins at time looked awesome....

At some point they lost their agressiveness and sat back... To me that was painfu; - Liek a batter taking three pitches right down the pike and not flinching.... DO SOMETHING!!!!

If nothing else, I predict Rex Ryan would not allow his defense to sit back and be manhandeled for 5 games in a row....

Rex Ryan has got a certain fire that is appealing to fans. I like the interview and quotes of him saying "I will get them stopped,If you want to stop someone I'm the guy" that's balls and that's what the Jets need. I hear some people mention that we may not have the personnel he needs. If anyone has watched the season you'll see that our guys were so confused as to their assignments and responsibility that can only suggest our defensive coordinator is clueless and our guys were under served. This defensive minded coach will make sure that's corrected. Lets hope hes the one!!

Isn't half of Vegas either in already or about to be in bankruptcy?
