Yeah pretty much, and that in itself is almost as big a problem as Idzik undermining Rex at every turn.

Tanny was fired because someone had to take the fall for the Tebow fiasco. If we didn't acquire Tebow, Tanny would have survived at least one more year despite his increasingly disappointing drafts.
i really cant tell you how happy i am to no longer have to deal with the circus that is rex ryan.. while a pretty good coach his shenanigans tend to over shadow his coaching. and i dont want a wwe hype man as the head coach of the team i follow. while there were some good times and some memorable times there were also alot of times of shaking my head and being down right embarrassed by the idiocy that he portrayed. i will never forget him standing there telling me over and over and over again that he gives us the best opportunity to win games. between him and that idiot herm edwards its been an annoying while midly successful past 15 or so years. with a short term of the polar opposite in mangina. hopefully the new coach is a bit more even keeled than the last few guys and can get the team over the proverbial hump. either way i will be glad to not have to listen to rex the windbag anymore. and he very well may find success, he very well may grow and put together a full team that can get to the promised land. and kudos to him if he does. ill still be glad i dont have to hear this bs on a regular basis coming from the hc of the new york jets.
