Rex ate his Thanksgiving meal early this year, he ate filet of crow, if he thought his tirade on Saleh would cause a bring back Rex movement it totally backfired.
As disgusted as most of us Jet fans are it is not a big percentage of us that want this blowhard back.

Salah and our CS still sucks. It was in full display today! We lost a winnable game mostly due to coaching blunders! This team may be worse than under Gase last year. Rex was not wrong. He is just making peace, with Salah.

Uhhhh, no. We lost due to missed field goals and horrible penalties due to boneheaded decisions by the players.

I swear, sometimes I wonder if we are all watching the same games

Exactly. That is all about coaching! Good coached teams don’t make that many boneheaded plays. To be quite honest Salah looks like he is over his head. Hopefully he is learning. That is the only thing he had going for him right now. The bad play on long TD was on the DC. Coming out looking like pure poop in on Salah. I am watching same game, we sucked!!

Why do people truly believe a player getting penalized for roughing the QB or pass interference is a coach's fault?

It's such a dumb fuckin argument. Like next level stupid

Don’t see that happening too often on Belecheats teams. It is discipline.

And it happens every game this season. It is common behavior on this team. Undisciplined.

Would you say Kansas City is a well coached team? What about Dallas, Tennessee, or Buffalo?

All of those teams have more or within 2-3 penalties compared to the Jets

Tennessee losing to jets and Houston! Buffalo losing to Jax, and Dallas got totally outplayed today. Actually it was brutal to watch. Why they are good teams, losing to brutally bad teams. Boneheaded plays and game plans. Maybe looking past the game. They all have some issues. And coaching may well be one.

Well coached teams don't lose games by making boneheaded decisions. That's why teams have coaches.

If you think this team is well coached you are delusional. I am watching one of the worst coached jet teams in history of the franchise. It is hard to watch, just waiting for the next boneheaded play to happen, or some missed assignment for an easyTD.

I never said they are well coached. I said it is ridiculous to think a coach is at fault when a player hits a QB late or causes a pass interference on a tight coverage.

Maybe occasionally, but is this the place you're looking for consistency?

Nope. Just pointing out the fact that a player committing a penalty is not always due to coaching, especially in the weak ass league we witness every week and especially this year

Discipline is definitely part of coaching. Reid is an offensive X's and O's genius but he's not exactly known for his clock management or disciplined players.

I don’t quite get how coaches instill discipline to not get penalized but there are definitely coaches who figure out ways to do it. McVay and Tomlin are two coaches who come to mind that usually coach to penalty lows every year.

I don't think anyone has asserted that coaches are responsible for every penalty, but it's their job to make sure the players know where the line gets drawn on bonehead plays. I might add that virtually all penalties or forced timeouts for too many men on the field are the responsibility of the coaches. How many of those have there been this season?

We've had zero penalties for too many men on the field

Are you sure, and how many timeouts taken to avoid them?
