should we start w/ the 1996 one that he won the SB with? They were also 1st in yds and pts allowed except they didn't blow multiple games late and they didn't blow the conference championship game and they allowed less pts in postseason.

Our 2009 D is so incredibly overrated, good D that choked so many times including the biggest game of the year.

The only absurd comment is saying the 2009 Jets D would have been the best he ever played with.

This argument you and JUNC keep stating is actually the worst argument in the history of arguments.

We just beat the undefeated Titans, and Brett Favre is sitting in 1st place at 8-3 on Sunday night ... 5 weeks away from a Division Title and a chance at another Lombardi ... but then according to you and JUNC ... one of the fiercest competitors to ever step on an NFL field woke up on Monday morning and decided he didn't feel like giving it his all the last 5 weeks because he didn't want to be here. He just tanked it.

    That's seriously what you believe??

    Come on man.

Completely wrong on virtually all accounts.

First of all, that 96 Packer defense wasn't as good as our 2009 unit. You are blatantly ignoring how turnover prone our 2009 offense actually was. There really isn't much of a comparison here. That 1996 Packer team had an offense that was 1st in points scored, 5th in total yards, and tied for the second least number of turnovers committed in the league. In 2009, our defense was paired with an offense that was 17th in points scored, 20th in total yards, and 21st in least number of turnovers committed. Our defense was burdened by having to protect a particularly turnover prone, inept offense. Green Bay's defense was gifted with the best offense in the league.

Also, in typically absurd pro-Sanchez/offense fashion, while you bash the defense for "Blowing" the AFC Championship game, you predictably fail to mention that our offense was shut out in the second half of that game by the powerhouse Colts defense.
