Amen, bro, I hope someone asks him about that in the press conference, or even better, he says it spontaneously.
I just wanted to bump this thread after reading Rex's book, check this out: "I loved the jets as a kid. They were my team. As I said earlier, my dad was the Jet's linebackers coach from 1968 to 1975 and helped the team win the Super Bowl III... I know the entire history of the Jets. Everybody just kind of looked down on them while I celebrated their history". How cool is that? By the way, the book is awesome, completely recommended
Great bump, never saw this thread previously and I like that many wanted him on this team. Just got his book as well, excited to read it. This just makes me even more excited.
Looking forward to getting this at the library some day, because there is no shot of me paying $40 bucks for this book.
Has anyone read this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coaching-Fo...2346/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1304795049&sr=8-4
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day!? On topic... Have read 2 chapters of the book so far. It's not really what I expected, though I don't really know what I expected. Spoiler alert (not much of a spoiler, but just in case) The whole first chapter was basically a summary of last season, which was so recent that it just felt kind of redundant reading about stuff that just happened.
Anyone else think that having Rex as a fan/coach is Karma for being stuck with such douchebag reporters like Cimini and Fatsesca?
"The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Mark Twain & me too - Skipper Hey, not every Jets fan is a teenager. I won money when the boys in green won supe III and I plan to win more when they play it again (soon). And no, I don't use a walker. As a matter of fact I sail my 40 footer solo.
