For any who missed it or just didn't have the time, the Press Conference is available for replay on the team website under multimedia. The transcript should be available in a few hours. Enjoy.

I like what I heard from Rex. I am on board. I am wondering about the first time that Rex pulls up on a 4th and 1 and the fans scream about his agressive nature in his press conference.

Can't be agressive 100% of the time but this sure seems like a step in the right direction.

As you might expect the "More than you can handle" remark has all the football blogs on fire everywhere...lol.

Good point, there is a flipside to aggressiveness. But anything will be better than Sutton's D.

From this guys past experience and resume of accomplishments , I really don't think this is just "talk". This is Rex Ryans thumbprint. Reckless, wild abandon, in your face, unpredictable defense.

He is simply telling Jets fans what to expect and get amped up for a defense that attacks opponents from all angles, including the "12th" man, which is us of course.

This is a hard nosed football guy that doesn't seem to give a shit about fancy over analytical schemes. He isn't blowing smoke up anyones asses here. He wants to bring it and the players are already on notice.

Gholston's got to show that he wants it. He's got to get off his ass and really work to prove that he wants to be in the NFL.

Gholston is lazy. One of the things against him, coming out of college, was that he had no heart.

But he sure has ability, and if Rex can get in his head and change G's mindset, the sky's the limit. It seems that Rex is up to the challenge. Hopefully Gholston is as well.

Watched the whole thing live and I am thinking, Is this for real?? This is nothing like the last 2 press conf I have seen for this team. If this guy can put 1/2 of that speech on the field, this is gonna be fun to watch!! I can see why they were willing to wait for this guy. I am sure after a bad loss we won't be hearing any mumbling and bumbling, this guy will tell it like it is!!!

I just got a massive chubby watching the press conference. It looks like Ryan is going to make this defense aggressive as hell. I like it. When he says he expects the Defense to be great, and this team will win right away, I truly believe him.

It's great news that Westhoff and Callahan are being retained.
