Barcs in 2010 said: Vernon Gholston is only 24 years old. He has the physical attributes to be the next Lawrence Taylor. Only Jets "fans" who listen to the hating media would want to give up on him so quickly. Barcs in 2011 said: Wayne Hunter is just being singled out by the NY media and so called "jet fans" don't give him the credit he's due. Barcs in 2012 said: I love how "jet fans" want to criticize Rex's choice of Tony Sparano. The guy was a head coach in this league, I'm pretty sure he can run the offense. LOL @ the armchair GM's on here. Barcs in 2013 said: God, this hate for Holmes is simply unbearable. at some of these "fans". Keep slandering the guy, it only shows the piss poor mentality that so many fans have these days. Grow up. Hey Barcs...you got any more amazingly prescient predictions for this season?
He's not going to do that because there's a good chance Smith will NOT be starting and Vick will outplay him, and Rex and everyone else knows it
If you've been following camp so far, you know this is not a likely scenario. I'm not saying things won't change, but Geno has been hands down the better QB. That's not just my opinion either, you can read up on camp reports from any beat guy.
Wait till after the green and white scrimmage and two preseason games have passed. not sure who will start which game, but thats when I'm expecting the starter to be announced. Even if the odds are leaning Smith it makes no sense to announce a starter RIGHT NOW before they've played outside competition. there is no harm in not having an undisputed officially licensed starter after a week of training camp. last years delays were an anomaly to say the least, if things pan out the way they usually do we'll be fine.
Just an FYI, none of those are actual quotes, although the Holmes one is something I would definitely say. I have never defended Wayne Hunter or Gholston lolz.
But they are things I can easily see you saying. You're completely predictable. Don't you have a higher hope for yourself aside from angry dick sucking cheerleader?
Yes, beating women, making fun of Christians, killing infants and supporting genocide are my bag. You didn't hear? People on this site said it, so it must be true. I used to bash the hell out of Wayne Hunter, btw.
Rex doesnt need to proclaim the starting QB until Geno proves he is the starting QB. It's as simple as that.
Why do you hate those who criticize Woody? I am pretty sure you are not a family member. I also got you to concede Woody in fact DID require Idzik to accept Rex as the HC last off season. Why you reflexively defend Johnson is not clear to me. As for who to criticize and who to support, you in fact do criticize Jet players and FO moves in this very post, yet you say fans are supposed to be loyal and optimistic. That doesn't make very much sense, on either count.
The Gholston & Sparano quotes are incredibly Then I apologize. NotSatoshiNakamoto is NotTobeBelieved.
When 75% of what you said was made up, it isn't a huge leap to assume the other 25% is as well. But everybody's a technicality lawyer these days, nitpicking semantics. You still posted bullshit quotes and attributed them to me. That's libel, bottom line. I seriously am starting to think that I'm just on another level than a lot of y'all. It's like you can't comprehend a basic statement or consider what the actual points are. Stokes is the master of ignoring points and nitpicking semantics. All it does is derail threads. How a comedic post I made about pre season heroes can escalate to this is beyond me.
I'm not defending him, I'm just saying people are pointing fingers in the wrong place because Woody's the owner and he's not a hands on owner. He didn't even hire the GM himself, a firm did it for him. That alone speaks volumes. Criticizing the owner for poor GM contracts or talent problems is silly to me, it's like bashing the US president because Baltimore has a high crime rate. Out of every player on the team or management / coaching staff, he actually has the LEAST impact on what happens on the field. He's not Jerry Jones, although many folks act like he is. I see Woody as a neutral factor when it comes to our success or lack thereof. There's nothing wrong with criticizing things about the team. You can do that and still be an optimistic loyal fan. They aren't mutually exclusive. It's just when people start blindly bashing developing players or coaches at every given opportunity and call them childish names over it that it crosses the line, in my opinion.
This is EXACTLY what I was saying. I made a point in that paragraph. The point was ignored because of ONE LINE out of context. Tis the norm on TGG.
when you claimed none of those 4 quotes were actual quotes of yours you were just plain wrong. it was not a technicality. you were wrong about the main fucking point. the other level you're on is retard level.
