    INDIANAPOLIS -- Rex Ryan and Stephen Paea combined to bench press 225 pounds 50 times.

    Almost.

    Paea set an NFL scouting combine record with 49 presses Sunday. The New York Jets coach got under the bar and managed one ... though we'll call it .75 considering he got an assist from ever-exuberant Cardinals strength and conditioning coach John Lott.

    Per Lott's program -- players must state their name and school -- Ryan approached the bench saying, "Rex Ryan, Oklahoma."

    He added "Southwestern" under his breath.

    Do you know anything about lifting? Just because you're 300lbs of fat, doesn't mean you should be able to bench press that amount.
