I get that you're excited about Marshall, but Johnson's the better wideout - I'm glad you acknowledged that in a previous post. Andre Johnson is the best all-around receiver in this league - he can run past you or through you...it doesn't matter. Marshall's a hell of a possession receiver, but Revis handles those kind of receivers very well. It should be a fun battle to watch.
Welker is the only guy in the NFL that, IMO, is literally impossible to cover man-to-man, 1v1. Without a guy opposite him though, you can shift LB's and safeties his way and limit what he does. He's not the best in the NFL, but he is the hardest to cover 1v1.
I love Johnson. He's my favorite non-Dolphin in the NFL. I'm completely with you. Andre is the best in the league bar none. To those who say there isn't a gap between Andre and Fitzgerald, there is, and it's a big one. Johnson is way up here, and everybody else is is 20 floors below. Should be a fun battle to watch though. I'm excited. Let's see how missing camp effects Revis?
I'm with you. I remember the undefeated season, their fans, the hankie waving crap, the tarp, fake spike, etc etc etc. Their colors are gayer than anything and no team is as over rated. PLUS, their fans never extended any credit for basically being .500 or better against them throughout their glory years.
I'm actually not that high on Fitz like everyone else. Admittedly, I don't have anything to really statistically justify it. We'll see how he does without Boldin. 1. Johnson 2. Moss (when he wants to be, I'd actually say he could be #1 if he put out 100%) 3. Wayne 3. Marshall 5. Fitz
