I'm not sure how you can support Schotty at this point. We have the 27th ranked offense in the NFL. I think his own Dad would fire him if he were his O.C.
If dopey Schottenheimer isn't fired after this miserable season, then I'll officially be on board the Rex is too delusional to be an NFL head coach and needs to go train.
yeah to bad he said the same thing the past 2 years about Shotty and they stayed like a complete retard.
Maybe Shotty has more shoe fetish photos and is blackmailing him? Only logical explanation. Or maybe shotty brings Rex canolis every day. Now how can Rex resist that?
Please edit your post so it doesn't read like it was written by a twelve year old girl laying in bed with an ice pack between her legs and recovering from her first menstrual cycle, then I will respond to you like you are an adult.
people should have learned by now that rex says stuff like this and none of it really means anything.
I only caught the last 5 minutes or so. Anything interesting before that? Smith said Rex answered every question he asked.
Well I think Rex has 2 more years left to get to the superbowl before Woody gives him a ax, so fine fatso you wanna keep Shotty and Sanchez around have fun coaching in Cleveland in 2 years. While your at it hype up Eric Smith and Hunter.
I pretty much learned not to take what Ryan says in public serious, no way hes going to come out and bash the QB/OC in public but anyone would consider Peyton if he was available which he won't be. He said what he had to say though.
Yeah Rex said No to Peyton. But hes full of shit, we all know that the Jets are going to jump at the chance to take Peyton if it comes up. I think Rex and Peyton could be a lethal duo and win 1 or 2 championships in 4 seasons. I could see Peyton playing into his 40s if he still have success(championships, not mvps)
If it was up to Rex he would have Sanchez there but thank god Woody is not Fred Wilpon and loves the big name, don't care what Rex says Woody will go after Peyton or Brady if they are ever on the block. Most people didn't even want Favre and he gave him a shitload of money.
I hate Rex constantly talking up how the Jets are first in the red zone. It's impressive, sure. But it doesn't relinquish the blame for them being 27th overall in offense. Worries me that the Jets will justify retaining Shotty due to this.
Even if Spagnuolo is fired, the Rams would still have to grant permission for an assistant coach under contract to make a lateral coordinator move.
