We NEED to bring someone from the outside in... unless its Tom Moore, which I dont think will happen.

IMO these two would be best-

Joe Lombardi- Worked with the mot accurate QB. Brees is similar in stature to Sanchez and can hopefully teach him how Brees is able to maneuver and find throwing lanes. Learning from Sean Peyton and help teaching Brees is ideal.

Tom Clements- Just look at how well orchestrated GB offense is. EVERY play that they run in games was religiously rehearsed in practice. Sadly, I dont think we can say the same about the Jets. He's obviously had some mentoring in Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre, has been to an won a SB and knows how to coach an Elite offense.

If Schotty goes, IMHO, I think Rex would go w/a Callahan/Moore combo, or possibly Cavanaugh, all of whom would be acceptable.

No chance for Norv so realistically I'd really like Joe lombardi since that NO offense is just beast and lets not forget Drew revived his career in NO after having less then stellar numbers at San Diego(under Shottenheimer if Im not mistaken lol). Cavanaugh would be interesting as well. I don't think Moore is an option. hes like 80 years old and pretty much retired.

I hate the idea of an internal candidate taking the job. Bring in someone completely new with completely new ideas.

Before this sort of thing goes any further, we should note that Josh McDaniels is in year one of a two year contract, so we'd have to work out compensation with the Rams if we were to sign him. Compensation. To the Rams. For an offensive coordinator. I just want to make sure I clear out a full day to sit and follow TGG the day Tanny strikes that Louisiana Purchase of a deal.

mc daniels would be free to move once spags gets fired and new coach comes in.

assistants not bound to team if head coach is fired. he can choose to stay but not mandatory.

Him publicly supporting Schott/Sanchez doesn't necessarily mean he actually supports them.

He publicly supported Mason and next day Mason was traded. Means nothing.

I'm okay with offering support, but a 'huge" amount is a bizarre choice of words for somebody (Shotty) that could (should) be canned on Monday.

Most likely the perverbial "kiss of death" for Schotty. We can only hope that's the case as clearly, a major change is needed for this team.

Just for him using the word "huge" I know hes lying his ass off. Said the same shit about Mason and hes disappeared over in Houston where he hasn't done shit for them either. You never know with Rex, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if hes fired right after the Miami game even if the offense puts up 500 yards which they won't.

Big surprise. I mean, BIG surprise.

Like a complete retard, I had expected him to say before a week that could end in a playoff berth, that he wanted to fire Schotty and cut Sanchez.

I guess you and I are in the same boat. Sort of.
