My money is on DAnny Woodhead OR Huey Whittaker... I don't remember any glowing report on Marcus Henry and MArio Urrutia didn't do that many OTA's with us to really shine. Other option: It's just a way to motivate the camp fodders in a position in which it would help a lot to have a guy jump out from nowhere.
It cant be Stuckey because he's the obvious #2 as of right now. It cant be Clowney because he wouldn't be all that much of a Surprise (Even though I'm pulling for him to be our Slot WR) It cant be Brad Smith because it wouldn't be all that much of a shocker to Jet fans considering his experience as an NFL player. It couldn't be Dustin Keller because we all know what type of talent he is as a TE. I'm sticking with my gut feeling which is a feeling that it could be Marcus Henry... Also, after that whole little trade the Jets front office pulled off, stealing Mark Sanchez from every other team with dreams of a potential Franchise QB...I'm not buying into anything Rex Ryan says about certain positions and thats because this man really had me fooled that he was confident with either Clemens or Ratliff and then on draft day, what happened? Rex Ryan had the last laugh and Ratliff had to make a U-Turn instead of heading for the draft day party. He's not fooling me again.
how many times did keller line up wide last year? we did use him out there a fair bit with great over the middle success as i recall.
Yeah I'm really high on Woodhead but I don't see him cutting it as a wideout. I'm hoping it's Marcus Henry. Can't say I remember hearing any good news about the guy since he's been a Jet though, ever.
I voted Marcus Henry because he's 6'4, 212 pounds, runs a 4.5 40 which is BLAZING fast for a guy of that size and most WR's his size don't have a fast 40 time and thats because they dont accelerate as fast but once they hit top speed...Their not getting caught-Plain and simple. There is more to Henry than just his size and speed...I remember him having a solid East-West Shrine game heading into the draft-Watch out for Marcus
