i guess if you're a total rex homer or jets homer you'll look at the team this way. fact is, rex has all he can handle just trying to be the head coach of this team after last years clueless ending. it doesn't matter who the coach picks (coach's pet sanchez) for team captains, because once you step on that field there are certain players everyone looks to and thats all that matters. back in my college days when i played ball, i didn't listen to the blowhards like sanchez that were wannabe leaders or the loud mouths. the players know who the real leaders are and thats all that matters!
exactly. guys like tebow, mangold, moore, etc. are the ones that will inspire the rest of the team to play their best. not some coddled pretty boy who thinks he's joe willy without the Lombardi to show for it.
